Job summary

Molina Healthcare seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide expert leadership for enterprise architecture activities and to develop a long-term strategic roadmap for future IT systems. You will design architectures for delivery, development, and support across complex IT projects.

The role requires hands-on cloud experience, deep SDLC knowledge, and the ability to align IT strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience in enterprise architecture and systems integration.
• 3+ years of management/leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, statistics, business, health care, engineering, etc.
• Advanced IT architecture understanding including the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of multiple technologies and enterprise architecture components.
• Experience with .NET or Java development.
• Hands-on cloud implementation experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of health care payer processes/industry/trends.
• Ability to execute data queries and analysis for decision-making.
• Strong data-analysis and critical-thinking skills.
• Strategic planning and process design/improvement experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn and research new concepts quickly.
• Strong project management experience.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills.
• SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Represent as a top technical expert leading complex enterprise IT consulting projects and ensure success of application rollouts.
• Lead cross-functional enterprise architecture programs and change efforts.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions; lead IT integrations.
• Establish and implement standards guiding design of technology solutions.
• Leverage expertise across platforms to support the business.
• Align IT strategy with business goals and objectives.
• Drive long-term roadmap development for IT systems architecture.
• Integrate business and service strategies into enterprise architecture roadmap.
• Partner with SME to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the enterprise on large-scale projects.
• Advocate and support enterprise IT strategies.
• Analyze industry trends to assess impacts on the enterprise.
• Identify deficiencies and propose improvements for business/IT environments.
• Drive implementation of new enterprise policies and guidelines.
• Consult with teams to ensure architecture fits across viewpoints.
• Define resource, organizational, and cultural requirements for the team.
• Write senior position papers and lead executive briefings.
• Provide training and mentoring to architecture team members.
