Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to align enterprise architecture with the company’s business objectives and technology strategy. You will drive architecture leadership across business, data, application, and technology domains to accelerate speed to market and optimize total cost of ownership.

This role supports GMPD initiatives, defines governance standards, and leads cross-functional collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with large-scale business/technology transformations in ecommerce, ERP, WMS, billing, master data.
• Strong understanding of web tech stack: TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs.
• Cloud computing across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS on Google Cloud, AWS, Azure.
• Experience with data modeling and enterprise data architectures.
• Knowledge of data integration: ETL/ELT, EAI, EII and B2B.
• Familiarity with security/privacy regulatory impacts (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI).
• Proficiency in TOGAF or Zachman frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Translate business drivers into enterprise architecture requirements.
• Align technology strategy with business goals and financial planning.
• Design next-generation architectures across domains for agility and speed to market.
• Develop architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and governance standards.
• Lead collaboration across business, data, integration, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Monitor emerging technologies and provide thought leadership on adoption.
• Evaluate solutions for risk, ROI, schedule, and budget; communicate future-state recommendations.
• Participate in vendor evaluations and upgrade/retirement plans.
