Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to align enterprise architecture with business objectives and technology strategy. You will design scalable, cost-aware architectures across business and technology domains, enable speed to market, and guide governance and standards adoption.

The role requires experience in large-scale transformations, cloud platforms, data modeling, and strong communication with senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience building and delivering Large Scale Transformations in eCommerce, ERP, Warehouse Mgmt, Billing, Master Data.
Excellent understanding of the web technology stack (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs).
Previous development and solution architecture experience preferred.
Experience with cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data).
Experience with cloud deployments on Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.
Experience with data modeling, database objects, and data governance.
Understanding data integration concepts (EAI, ETL, ELT, EII, B2B).
Experience with SAP technologies (S/4HANA, BI tools) is a plus.
Knowledge of enterprise data models, data governance, lifecycle management.
Understanding security regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, PCI).
Knowledge of TOGAF or Zachman.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Translate business drivers into enterprise architecture requirements and align technology with business goals.
Design next-generation architectures across domains to enable agility and speed to market.
Develop IT strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, and enforce standards.
Lead collaboration across business, data, integration, infrastructure, and security teams.
Monitor emerging technologies and provide thought leadership on adoption.
Evaluate solutions considering risk, ROI, schedule, and budget.
Participate in RFPs, vendor evaluations, and pricing models; assess upgrades/retirement plans.
Promote EA processes and create training materials; lead communication plans.
Establish guiding principles for architecture decisions; maintain technology vision across projects.
