Job summary

SCA Health in the United States seeks a Principal Architect – Business to lead enterprise architecture, mapping business capabilities to processes and IT strategy. You will translate strategy into capability‑based solutions and guide IT’s transformation into a value‑driven partner.

You’ll work with PMO, executives, and IT teams to develop capability models, govern initiatives, and deliver measurable business outcomes, while mentoring colleagues across the architecture function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• 8–10+ years in business architecture, strategy, or IT consulting.
• 2–5+ years in architect or leadership roles, recent role included.
• Healthcare provider knowledge (ASC) is highly desirable.
• Experience mapping capabilities to processes, apps, and data; TOGAF/ArchiMate familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish business capability models and value streams.
• Align business needs with technology to advance company objectives.
• Guide IT in shifting to a business value‑driven partnership.
• Provide strategic consultation on capability‑based solutions and organizational design.
• Collaborate with PMO, executives, and business users across initiatives.
• Ensure governance and lifecycle optimization of initiatives.
• Communicate qualitative and quantitative findings to leadership.
• Mentor teams and contribute to IT department growth.
