Job summary

Coforge in Indianapolis is seeking a hands-on Enterprise / Principal Architect to lead enterprise-wide architecture for Pharma & Life Sciences clients. The role demands 15+ years of experience, deep domain knowledge, and strong capabilities in enterprise and solution architecture within regulated environments.

You will shape complex transformation programs, drive modernization and cloud initiatives, and ensure governance across programs, platforms and data.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership in Enterprise/Solution Architecture
• Pharma/Life Sciences domain experience preferred across multiple capabilities
• Experience defining enterprise technology strategy and target-state architectures
• Hands-on architecture across complex enterprise environments
• Experience with large-scale modernization, cloud transformation, integration, and digital programs
• Knowledge of AI/ML, GenAI, and Agentic AI architectures in enterprise contexts
• Understanding of GxP, CSV/CSA, data integrity and regulated Life Sciences tech environments
• Ability to engage CIO/CTO and business leaders and drive architecture governance

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise technology strategy, target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps
• Translate business priorities into architecture capabilities for R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Commercial
• Architect complex enterprise solutions and set architectural patterns for engineering teams
• Establish architecture principles, standards and governance across programs
• Lead modernization, rationalization and transition architectures for applications
• Provide direction across Cloud, APIs, microservices, integration and modern platforms
• Guide AI/GenAI adoption with governance and controls within enterprise systems
• Collaborate with business, security, regulatory and compliance stakeholders to ensure scalable, compliant solutions
• Provide architecture leadership across consulting, solutioning and delivery
