Job summary

Wellington Management in the United States is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the firm’s technology direction, standards, and platform strategies. This senior role collaborates with Technology Platform CIOs, product owners, and architecture communities to drive outcome‑driven decisions.

You will develop architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and patterns, manage risk, and promote reuse across the enterprise while balancing speed, cost, security, and resiliency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise architecture in large-scale environments.
• Strong executive communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into concise, business-aligned recommendations.
• Ability to develop architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, patterns, and governance materials in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architecture strategies and roadmaps for platforms and enterprise capabilities.
• Create enterprise reference architectures, standards, and patterns for scalable delivery.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board and governance processes to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with Technology Platform CIOs, product owners, and solution architects to shape platform and product architecture runways.
• Lead technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and industry research to inform direction.
• Mentor architects and engineers to build a mature architecture practice across Wellington.
