Job summary

bet365 is seeking an Enterprise Software Architect to design and drive the ongoing evolution of our Sports Betting and Trading platform. You will set strategic architectural direction, collaborate with fellow architects and tech leadership, and ensure scalable, maintainable integration with our platform vision.

The role focuses on delivering greenfield, enterprise-level solutions with strong leadership, communication, and autonomous execution.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in distributed systems architecture and high-throughput, low-latency platforms.
Cloud-oriented design with emphasis on scalable, maintainable architectures.
Trading systems experience, preferably in finance or gambling sectors, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural direction and roadmaps for the next-generation US Sports Betting and Trading platform.
Evaluate architectural impact across the tech ecosystem and secure stakeholder alignment.
Draft vision documents and governance artifacts to communicate and champion the architecture.
Initiate PoCs to validate architectural decisions and mitigate technical risks.
Act as architectural ambassador to Senior Management and Leadership teams.
Provide governance to ensure solutions adhere to the architectural vision.
Collaborate with department leaders to evolve product architectures.
Oversee integration of 3rd party COTS solutions with proper governance.
Drive cross-departmental architectural initiatives and roadmaps; develop Target Operating Models.
