Job summary

Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City is seeking an experienced Applications Developer to oversee, design, develop, implement, test, and administer the College’s third‑party and internal systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of application development and SDLC.
• Experience with agile methodologies and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign development tasks to team members.
• Develop, test, and maintain information systems using OO design.
• Lead district-wide meetings to gather requirements for new systems.
• Collaborate with Marketing and IT to support public websites.
• Ensure ADA/508 compliance for internal and public systems.
• Configure databases and web back-ends; manage migrations and tests.
• Guide projects using Azure DevOps and agile practices.
