Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking an Application Engineer to join the Secure the Enterprise initiative, focusing on automating security evaluation and authorization processes across software, systems, and operations.

The role bridges Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Operations Support to deliver automated, scalable security solutions. Candidate must hold a current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance; extensive Linux, AWS, dataflow, and DevOps experience are required.

Qualifications

• Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
• Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
• Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree.
• Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
• Four (4) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree.
• Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain application systems to ensure data reliability and accuracy.
• Proactively troubleshoot to improve performance; may involve code/config changes.
• Track metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts, and application status to prevent downtime.
• Identify service degradation and escalation needs on watchfloor operations.
• Perform basic Linux system administration tasks and manage server reboots.
• Support cloud-based operations using AWS Console or AWS CLI for health checks.
