Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking a Staff Enterprise Application Engineer in Chicago, IL (Remote). You will anchor enterprise applications that support systems engineering and operations, building, deploying, integrating, and supporting critical engineering tools to improve SQDC metrics.

You will partner with systems engineers and program teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions, embracing LEAN practices and the FLIGHT DECK approach to promote continuous improvement and efficiency in daily

Qualifications

Minimum five years of professional experience.
Linux server administration experience.
Windows server administration experience.
General cloud experience, with AWS preferred.
Scripting in Bash or PowerShell.
Experience with LLM tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Teamwork and ITIL experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with software engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
Triage server and application outages.
Assist software deployments.
Perform security patching and platform updates.
Develop automated processes to improve release speed and efficiency.
Develop technical guidance and operational documentation.
Support deployment, integration, and operation of enterprise applications.
Maintain reliable, secure, scalable, and compliant environments.
