Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks an Application Engineer to lead automation and security-focused development within the Secure the Enterprise initiative. You will develop Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data-model management while coordinating with front-end interfaces via JSON.

The role requires deep backend experience with Django or Flask, MongoDB or MariaDB, and RESTful design, plus a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance. Partial telework may be available.

Qualifications

• Twelve years minimum experience; higher degree replaces lower years as described.
• Proficiency with Python web frameworks and REST API design.
• Experience with Django or Flask in production environments.
• Database experience with MongoDB or MariaDB.
• Ability to develop and maintain REST endpoints and microservices.
• Security clearance requirement: Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data models.
• Provide middleware and backend support for system applications.
• Interact with MariaDB or MongoDB and expose data via JSON to UI.
• Deploy, test, and sustainment tasks across lifecycle.
