Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Senior Application Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to design and develop Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data-model work with Django/Flask frameworks, interfacing with MariaDB or MongoDB and JSON data exchange to UI front ends.

Candidates should have extensive experience in backend systems, middleware, and cloud-ready architectures; the role may allow partial telework and requires Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED.
• Ten (10) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree.
• Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree.
• Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree.
• Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python based ReST endpoints, microservices and data model management using Django/Flask with MariaDB or MongoDB, exchanging data in JSON to UI front ends.
• Provide middleware and backend support to all system applications.
