Job summary

Albany International's GIS is seeking an Enterprise Analytics Manager to lead the strategy, architecture, and operations of the Microsoft analytics stack, with SAP S/4HANA as the primary data source. The role focuses on modernizing analytics through Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric, delivering scalable, governed data platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing and managing analytics solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Lead Microsoft Power BI, SQL, SSAS and SSRS delivering SAP ERP and S/4HANA data.
• Experience architecting with modern tooling from Microsoft, SAP, and 3rd party tools.
• Strong data architecture knowledge: dimensional modeling, data vault, ELT/ETL.
• Ability to design governance in regulated/global environments.
• Track record of leading cross-functional programs with measurable outcomes.
• US citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Platform Management: Maintain and optimize the existing Microsoft analytics stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SAP data replication).
• Modernization Leadership: Lead migrations and new cloud-first builds (MS Fabric).
• Fit-for-Purpose Framework: Create and maintain a framework guiding technology selection.
• Data Governance & Security: Collaborate on governance, RBAC, data cataloging, and security.
• Solution Delivery & Standards: Set standards for semantic modeling, CI/CD, and cost governance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate priorities into analytics roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with Microsoft, SAP, and SI partners.
