Job summary

Albany International Corp. is seeking a seasoned Director of Global Information Services to lead a global team delivering enterprise applications and analytics solutions, including SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft Fabric, aligning technology with business goals.

You will partner with senior leaders, drive modernization, governance, and data strategy, and shepherd large-scale upgrades, cloud migrations, and AI-enabled capabilities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise applications, analytics, or digital transformation roles.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional technology teams including application, data, and analytics professionals.
• Deep experience managing enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, with familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Azure, Fabric, Power Platform, M365).
• Proven track record delivering large-scale modernization initiatives, platform upgrades, cloud migrations, and data/analytics transformations.
• Strong governance and vendor management experience across SAP, Microsoft, SI/consulting partners, and managed services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a global team of analysts and analytics professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Oversee strategy, delivery, and optimization of core enterprise platforms, including SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Fabric, and broader SAP/Microsoft ecosystems.
• Drive modernization initiatives and champion strategic, value-focused innovations across applications, analytics, and data platforms.
• Partner with business units and corporate leadership to align technology with enterprise goals.
• Maintain governance, security, and compliance across enterprise applications and data solutions.
