Job summary

Crusoe is hiring a Senior Enterprise AI Automation Engineer in Sunnyvale to design and build agentic AI systems that orchestrate multi‑system automation. You will operate at the intersection of AI, enterprise apps, and integration platforms, enabling scalable workflows and a citizen developer program.

You will design deployment pipelines, embed security and privacy guardrails, and mentor teams while evaluating new AI tech to advance agentic maturity across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with 2+ years in AI/ML or AI app development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and API development (REST, GraphQL, webhooks).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise integration platforms (Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier).
• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or similar).
• Deep understanding of agentic architectures, RAG patterns, and prompt engineering.
• Experience designing scalable, distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and integration design patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance considerations (SOC 2, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI workflows using a modular, API-first approach across platforms (Workato, Anthropic Claude, Gemini).
• Build autonomous agents that orchestrate workflows across enterprise systems (Salesforce, Coupa, Slack, Google Workspace).
• Architect and integrate a unified data layer to let AI agents access data across silos.
• Develop integrations, APIs, and connectors for scalable AI orchestration.
• Implement MCP connectors and model-agnostic orchestration patterns.
• Design deployment pipelines and lifecycle management for AI agents in production.
• Embed security, privacy, and compliance guardrails in all AI implementations.
• Create reusable templates and tooling to support a Citizen Developer Program.
• Mentor internal teams through code reviews, training, and enablement programs.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and prototype next-gen capabilities.
