Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a forward-deployed architecture leader in San Jose, CA to design scalable AI/HPC estates and lead discovery, workshops, and proofs of concept with customers. You will package production-ready architectures for repeatability across multiple accounts and collaborate with sales, factory engineering, and NVIDIA field architects.

Exceptional travel to customer sites for multi-day workshops and POCs is required; you will work with NVIDIA-based systems and adjacent AMD/Intel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/CE/IT with 12+ years in solution/data center architecture or consulting, with production deployments you can point to.
• Experience designing hybrid AI or HPC estates: private/on-prem plus public cloud and/or GPU cloud, comfortable working on customer floors.
• Experience taking large GPU/HPC systems from first workshop to production, NVIDIA data center GPU platforms, NVIDIA certification desirable.
• Working knowledge of AMD and Intel server platforms, storage and networking; ability to travel to customer sites for multi-day workshops and POCs.

Responsibilities

• Forward-deployed customer architecture: embed with high-profile accounts, analyze workloads, and package architecture for executives and teams.
• Workshop, POC, and production handoff: run workshops, bring-up on Supermicro hardware, validate workloads, and hand off a repeatable design.
• Enablement and field leadership: document lessons, train sales/field engineers, represent Supermicro at events.
