Job summary

Stanford University’s Enterprise Technology team (AI Catalyst) seeks a senior analyst to connect business stakeholders with engineering delivering enterprise AI. You’ll shape and document requirements for AI/GenAI initiatives, translate needs into buildable specs, and guide solutions through delivery, testing, and adoption.

You will not build models but will scope feasible use cases, set expectations, and support platform rollouts (Claude, OpenAI/ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini) and AI applications

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI/GenAI projects in a large organization.
• Knowledge of AI quality, governance, prompt engineering and guardrails.
• Familiarity with agent interoperability standards.
• Proficient with Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet.
• Process mapping (BPMN) and data analysis to support decisions.
• Experience in higher education or similarly complex environments.
• Ability to write clear requirements and guide delivery across turns.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Shape and document requirements for AI/GenAI initiatives in Stanford’s Enterprise Technology team.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into buildable specifications for enterprise AI platforms.
• Guide solutions through delivery, testing, and adoption processes.
• Support rollout of platforms like Claude, OpenAI/ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini and related AI applications.
• Write strong requirements and assist with delivery planning and governance.
