Gusto in Denver is seeking a Senior EDD Investigations Analyst to lead complex due diligence reviews for high-risk customers. You will perform in-depth open-source research, assess adverse media and sanctions exposure, and draft risk summaries for regulatory reporting.

You will use AI-enabled tools to speed investigations while ensuring accuracy and regulatory soundness, mentoring junior analysts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enhanced due diligence or AML investigations.
• Excellent investigative writing and ability to summarize complex risk patterns.
• Strong research skills with high-volume information handling.

Responsabilités

• Independently conduct EDD reviews for high-risk customers per procedures.
• Perform deep open-source research on adverse media, sanctions, PEP exposure.
• Draft SARs and summarize findings for internal partners with regulatory alignment.
• Investigate EDD alerts and resolve issues with guidance from leadership.
• Conduct KYC reviews during onboarding for complex ownership structures.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research while maintaining human judgment.
• Review AI-generated research for accuracy and compliance.
• Suggest improvements to EDD workflows and contribute to training materials.
• Mentor junior analysts in research and documentation.
