Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking an Engineering Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional initiatives from concept to deployment, manage timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure scalability across regulated industries.

The role covers risk analyses (FTA, FMEA, HAZOP), safety standard compliance, collaboration with testing teams, and mentoring staff, with up to 50% travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or Reliability Engineering (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in engineering design, systems safety, or reliability analysis within highly regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, nuclear, or medical devices)
• Deep proficiency in probabilistic risk assessment (PRA), Monte Carlo simulations, and reliability modeling software (ReliaSoft, Item ToolKit, or PTC Windchill).
• 5+ years analyzing and interpreting complex engineering data and statistical risks into clear, non-technical language for strategic decision-making

Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including FTA, FMEA, and HAZOP
• Ensure engineering designs comply with industry regulations and safety standards
• Develop and recommend actionable risk mitigation strategies and design modifications
• Collaborate with testing and validation teams to verify risk controls are effective
• Author comprehensive risk management plans and analytical reports for executives and customers
• Serve as the primary technical advisor bridging design, PM, and manufacturing
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and production staff on risk analysis best practices
