Job summary

First Division Consulting (FirstDiv) seeks an Engineering Technician VI to provide expert-level support for integration, maintenance, and modernization of USMC communications systems. Lead or support advanced engineering tasks, including configuration, troubleshooting, and development of technical documentation for MIL-STD platforms.

The role requires extensive experience with USMC radio and vehicular configurations, field and shop work, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four‑year electronics apprentice program; or High School diploma or GED
• 12 years with degree/formal training or 14 years with HS/GED of practical experience to include: design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings.
• Clearance Required: Secret

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for integration, maintenance, and modernization of USMC communications systems.
• Lead or support engineering tasks, including configuration and troubleshooting of complex architectures.
• Develop and refine technical documentation and publications (MIs, TIs, TMs, BOM, ICD).
• Operate RF test equipment and hand tools; ensure electrical safety.
• Work in field and shop environments with physical fitness and dexterity.
