Job summary

First Division Consulting provides program management and engineering support for USMC communications. The Engineering Technician III will support integration, repair, and maintenance of Marine Corps systems, including hands-on cabling, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Proficiency in MIL-STD fabrication, field and shop operations, and producing MIs/TIs/TMs is required. A Secret clearance and technical background are preferred; lifting and travel duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have MIL-STD cable fabrication proficiency and ability to assemble/solder communications cabling.
• Ability to read schematics and cable drawings for complex architectures.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting USMC communication systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for integration, repair, maintenance, and enhancement of USMC communications systems.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and operate fielded USMC platforms in shop and field settings.
• Prepare technical documentation (MIs, TIs, TMs, BOM, ICD).
• Engage with clients and team members to resolve technical issues.
