Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Engineering Technician - V (Support Equipment) to deliver on-site technical services and OJT in SE for Navy and Marine Corps aviation programs. You will train personnel, assess maintenance procedures, and advise on tooling and procedures across Navy and NETS environments.

Requirements include a high school diploma with technical training, 3 years hands-on SE experience, and two years at E5 level or equivalent. US citizenship and a current Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and technical training in a relevant technical field.
• Three (3) years of practical hands-on experience within the past five (5) years and two (2) years at or above the military E5 level or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide CETS for SE OJT training and assistance on aviation programs, systems and equipment.
• Provide on-site academic instruction and on-equipment proficiency training to Navy/Marine personnel and NETS specialists.
• Assist in developing training plans and SE training programs for Navy/Marine Corps personnel.
• Advise on identification and use of tools, handling equipment and test equipment for SE.
• Analyze SE discrepancies in maintenance procedures against TM updates and recommended changes.
