Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support federal solutions projects. The role involves handling submittals, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and maintaining critical document workflows and Extranet data.

Strong engineering method expertise and extensive experience are essential. You will liaise with PMs, REs, and construction reps, ensuring timely submittal processing within typical review times.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent training)
• 8+ years of related experience
• Advanced proficiency in applying highly complex engineering methods and testing techniques

Responsibilities

• Receives and logs incoming submittals
• Communicates with PMs, REs, and construction reps about submittal progress
• Forwards drawings to the appropriate engineering personnel
• Organizes and files engineering and technical documents; maintains files
• Gives presentations and maintains the Project Extranet database
• Contacts PMs about review completion and acts as contractor liaison
• Delivers submittals to PMs and REs
• Utilizes USACE automated information systems as required
• Deliverables provided within established review times (typically 10 working days or less)
