Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join our Federal Solutions team in Montana. The role focuses on submittal processing, logging, and coordinating with PMs, REs, and engineering staff to ensure timely reviews and accurate documentation.

You will forward drawings, maintain files, and participate in presentations while utilizing ProjNet and related information systems. A strong background in engineering methods and 8+ years of related experience are required.

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Advanced proficiency with complex engineering methods and testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming submittals and communicate progress with PMs and engineers.
• Forward drawings and submittals to engineering staff and maintain files.
• Presentations as requested and manage ProjNet database.
• Coordinate reviews with PMs/REs and act as contractor liaison.
• Deliver submittals to PMs and REs and use USACE information systems.
• Ensure deliverables meet established review times, typically 10 days or less.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Engineering Technician to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Receives and logs incoming submittals
• Communicates with the PM, Resident Engineers (RE), and construction representatives in matters pertaining to progress of submittal processing
• Forwards drawings and other technical submittals to the proper engineering department personnel
• Organizes and files all engineering and technical documents; maintains files
• Gives presentations as requested; maintains Project Extranet (ProjNet(TM)) database
• Contacts PMs about review completion
• Acts as a contractor liaison
• Delivers submittals to the PMs and RE
• Utilizes USACE automated information systems, as required.
• All deliverables from the contract employee under this discipline shall be provided within established review times, typically 10 working days or less.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field (or equivalent related training/certification if applicable)
• 8+ years of related experience
• Requires advanced proficiency in applying highly complex engineering methods, as well as tasks and testing techniques related to operational processes

Salary Range: $30.58 - $53.51
