Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician on a contract-to-direct basis to support development, testing, fabrication, troubleshooting, and assembly of advanced electromechanical systems and prototype hardware.

You'll work with engineering teams to build, modify, test, and maintain complex systems for defense and technology programs, performing calibration, alignment, and documentation, and contributing to process improvements in a dynamic lab environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 1+ year in engineering labs, manufacturing, or prototype ops.
• 2+ years in engineering development, aerospace, defense, or similar.
• Experience using lab tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Layout, build, assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify assemblies and systems.
• Support prototype hardware, experimental circuitry, and lab systems.
• Calibrate, align, diagnose, and maintain equipment.
• Document test results and data under guidance.
• Collaborate with engineers to meet schedules and objectives.
• Support continuous improvement and tooling development.
