A global leader in analytical instruments is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join their New Product Introduction team in Milford, MA. The ideal candidate will assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex systems and instruments while ensuring production schedules are met. Responsibilities include providing technical support, training personnel, and coordinating with manufacturing engineering. This position requires a minimum of an associates degree in Electro/Mechanical technology, with a solid foundation in mechanical drawing interpretation and basic computer skills. Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical with two years experience.
• High School and additional post secondary education with four years experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read/understand mechanical drawings and follow written procedures.
• Basic understanding of working within the Microsoft Windows Environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist production with technical support necessary for the department to meet production schedules.
• Provide leadership within production areas to support production output.
• Assist in troubleshooting problems with systems and instruments.
• Provide training for assembly, test, and operation of instruments.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering for processes and documentation.
