HII's Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking engineers and technical specialists to provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks, gather and format data, and produce engineering documentation and analyses.

The role requires an Associate's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent, involves detailed calculations, and uses a PC to develop reports and run tests. The workplace is in Newport News, VA, with full-time hours and no telework.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent to Associate’s Degree: NNPS graduate or NNS Apprentice School graduate.
• High School/GED with 2 years of related Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or High School/GED with 4 years of non-related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.
• Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data and reports.
• Produce engineering documentation, drawings, and analyses.
• Perform detailed mathematical calculations and data analyses.
• Use a PC to develop documentation and conduct tests as needed.
