Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join our Federal Solutions team in the United States. You will log and track submittals, coordinate with PMs and REs, forward drawings to engineering, maintain project documents, and deliver submittals on time using ProjNet and related systems.

The role requires an Associate's degree in engineering technology or related field and at least 8 years of experience, with advanced proficiency in complex engineering methods.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent training.
• Minimum 8+ years of related experience.
• Advanced proficiency in applying highly complex engineering methods and testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming submittals and maintain records.
• Communicate with PMs, REs, and construction reps on submittal progress.
• Forward drawings to engineering personnel and organize/maintain documents.
• Give presentations and manage the ProjNet database.
• Coordinate review completion with PMs and act as contractor liaison.
• Deliver submittals to PMs and REs and use USACE information systems.
• Ensure deliverables are provided within established review times (typically 10 days).
