Responsibilities

• Support engineering and environmental functions, including field measurements, drawing creation, sample collection, and construction observation.
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications on-site.
• Conduct field activities such as construction observation, record-keeping, material verification, and environmental sampling.
• Create drawings via hand drafting or CAD.
• Prepare calculations, data summaries, and maintain equipment.
• Assist with administrative tasks like copying, filing, and project documentation.
• Exercise authority to halt construction if deviations occur.
• Maintain client confidentiality and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Construction Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field; Bachelor’s preferred. Relevant experience may substitute education.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in measurement, surveying, or environmental activities.
• Ability to perform construction observations, data recording, and verification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
