Job description

**ManTech** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Sr. Engineering Technician (Combat Systems)** to join our team in **Chesapeake, VA.** This is a **Hybrid** position.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Lead antenna assessment team to conduct assessments in accordance with referenced requirements

+ Verify processes, activities analysis, reporting and corrective actions required of assessment results

+ Perform engineering analysis on assessment findings

+ Conduct senior level management and senior shipboard officers’ briefings as necessary

+ Travel CONUS 3-5 times a year

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ 8+ years of experience in Naval shipboard engineering and maintenance in Combat System

+ 2+ years of recent supervisory experience (within the past five years) planning, managing, or supporting U.S. Navy ship availabilities

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

+ Experience in antenna maintenance and operational assessments

**Clearance Requirements:**

+ Must have a current and active Secret Security Clearance

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Able to lift and carry 40 lbs

+ Able to access aircraft carriers, climbing ladders, and ability to be certified for Man Aloft antennaaccess.

+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

+ Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
