Qualifications

• Two years experience with AN/SLQ-32 V6 System is preferred.
• Ten years experience with AN/SLQ-32 V1-V5 System for legacy technicians.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Lead in Norfolk, VA.
• Act as the point of contact for technical activities.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to the workforce.

Job description

TRISTAR is seeking several Engineering Technician VI for our government customer in Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary Lead in Norfolk, VA
• Acting as the point of contact between the contractor and the Fleet Readiness Coordinator regarding technical activities
• Providing day-to-day guidance to the workforce

Requirements:

• Conceptual knowledge of U.S. Navy Combat Systems, Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) systems, and MEWSD-supported systems preferred
• Two (2) years of experience with the AN/SLQ-32 V6 System
• For Legacy Technicians: 10 years of experience with the AN/SLQ-32 V1-V5 System
• Knowledge of the AN/SLQ-32 V7 System and/or Q-70, SEI, SLA-10B Subsystems
• Experience working with Casualty Reports (CASREPs)
• Experience with reporting tools like DART and System Progression Activity (SPAT)
• Experience with Distance Support per JFFMM
• Experience with On Board Tech Assist (OBTA)
• Experience with SOVT, PICO, CSATs, CSSQTs
• Fiber Optic Training
• OSHA 10-hour Maritime Shipyard Training
• ESD
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required
