What you’ll do

As our Senior Engineering Technician - CAD, you’ll be asked to take on dynamic projects. We'll count on you to:

• Interpret complex construction plans and specifications
• Create drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D or Revit utilizing the 3D environment to assist with design
• Manage, support, teach, and mentor junior and/or entry-level CAD technicians in the office
• Manage CAD technicians on a project basis to complete multidiscipline project scope
• Prepare calculations, summary sheets, and assist with other reporting as requested
• Develop leadership skills that build autonomy

What it takes

• Associate Degree in Applied Science – CADD, Engineering or Construction Technology recommended
• 7-10 years of CADD experience required; AutoCAD Civil 3D or Revit preferred
• Substantial knowledge and expertise with engineering design drawing creation required
• Field experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to speak and write well required
• Strong analytical and organizational skills required
