Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate of applied science in engineering and at least nine years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing, developing, and constructing major units, devices, components, or equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions.
• Ability to use guidelines and specifications to develop designs for equipment with difficult performance requirements.
• Ability to analyze technical data and prepare layouts, specs, parts lists, and procedures.
• Experience planning tests to evaluate equipment, system, or component performance.
• Experience determining test requirements, equipment modification, and test procedures.
• Experience with design, fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical packaging.
• Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of DoD systems, subsystems, equipment, and components.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, install, integrate and test C5ISR systems onto air platforms or ground mobile communications.
• Develop layouts, schematics and detailed specifications for electrical and mechanical assemblies.
• Conduct on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of DoD systems and components.
