Job summary

CMS Energy seeks a Principal Engineering Technical Analyst to lead development of engineering standards and materials, including emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with rules and codes. You will guide engineers and operations, manage complex projects, and drive process improvements.

The role requires expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, plus Agile methods and industry benchmarking. Hybrid on-site and remote days, with relocation support for Michigan-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field with 7 years of engineering technical analysis experience.
• Or an Associate’s degree with 9 years of engineering technical analysis experience.
• Or a high school diploma with 11 years of engineering technical analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of engineering standards and materials.
• Communicate standards and guidance to engineers and operations.
• Lead complex projects to completion within plan and budget.
• Provide training and create work instructions for configuration processes.
• Monitor changes in processes, standards, and regulations and coach others.
