Job summary

Kenvue is seeking a Principal Engineering Scientist for North America (Las Piedras, Puerto Rico). This onsite role reports to the Senior Manager Engineering and Automation and will lead complex engineering projects from concept to post-implementation, ensuring CGMP compliance and robust documentation.

The candidate will manage scopes, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, quality, and safety across the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or related).
• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/consumer products engineering or operations.
• Knowledge of cGMPs and Good Documentation Practices.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering support to the manufacturing plant.
• Manage and deliver engineering projects from concept to post-implementation, including scope, requirements, timelines and budgets.
• Review and approve commissioning and qualification documentation; ensure adherence to compliance and cost targets.
• Mentor peers and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resources, and budgets.
