Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineering in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Engineering Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System across multiple projects. You will plan audits, manage quality teams, and promote a culture of quality aligned with ISO standards and client requirements.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 10+ years in project quality, and ability to drive improvements across districts. This position offers a pathway to leadership within the Quality department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of project quality experience.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards and quality frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) on projects, aligned with ISO 9000/9001 and company standards.
• Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct project quality audits and multi-assessor reviews, implementing QA processes.
• Identify non-conformance trends and foster continuous improvement.
• Build and mentor quality teams; set expectations and provide feedback.
• Ensure proactive risk identification and mitigation; report to leadership when needed.
