Job summary

Calumet is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead capital projects in refinery/chemical plant contexts. You will plan, execute, and finalize projects, coordinating with team members and contractors while ensuring safety, budget, and schedule adherence.

You will develop PFD, P&IDs, equipment specs, and manage bid packages, vendor inquiries, and resource allocation. Strong communication and leadership are essential; MS Project, Power BI, and MS Teams experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 7+ years of project management experience in a refinery or chemical plant setting.
• Excellent communication and cost-control abilities.
• Experience with bid preparation and evaluation processes.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Knowledge of safety practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects within assigned scope.
• Develop PFD, P&IDs, equipment specs, and procurement-related documents.
• Coordinate resources and supervise project personnel.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate vendor inquiries.
• Ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and safety standards.
