POSITION: Senior Engineering Project Manager
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
SALARY: $89,800 - $100,000 annually (DOE) + Full Benefits Package
LOCATION: Remote
This position requires the person to manage bridge projects during engineering, detailing, fabrication, delivery, and project closeout. This person will be responsible for making sure that all projects assigned are designed following all bridge design specifications and are properly detailed for fabrication. This position also requires reviewing, signing, and sealing other engineers work and checking it for completeness and accuracy. This person will be a technical expert on all aspects of bridge products.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProficiency with Microsoft Office products, AutoCAD, and common structural engineering design software. Experience using IES and AASHTOWare BrR is preferred.
Possesses the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of bridge design programs.
Knowledge of AASHTO, AISC, ACI, NDS, ASCE-7, and other structural codes.
Ability to read and understand plans and specs.
Excellent communication skills and ability to bring parties together to achieve ultimate outcome.
Ability to operate in a team and to speak up, express opinions, share ideas and do so assertively.
Ability to operate at a rapid pace which will require ability to triage priorities and take action.
Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word and in writing clearly and concisely and actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.
Attention to detail.
Ability to read bridge plans and interpret specifications.
Ability to hold drafting staff, shop personnel, and other bridge engineers accountable to maintain project timelines, ensure accuracy, and quality.
