Job summary

Perdue Farms, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead large-scale capital projects across grain handling, oilseed processing, refining, and value-added facilities.

You will guide projects from concept through construction, commissioning, and closeout, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Quality, Purchasing, Finance, and external contractors to deliver safe, efficient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–12+ years of progressive experience managing capital/engineering projects in industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading multimillion dollar capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, change management, and contractor oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary capital projects across capacity expansion and modernization.
• Develop and maintain Project Execution Plans and budgets per governance.
• Own project outcomes from feasibility to commissioning and handoff.
• Manage approved budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Coordinate design development, reviews, and approvals to ensure constructability.
• Lead bid package development and contractor evaluations.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance throughout project lifecycle.
• Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to leadership.
