Job summary

D-Wave Quantum Inc. in New Haven seeks a Senior Engineering Program Manager to drive execution, optimize engineering workflows, and govern the product lifecycle from development through productization.

You will partner with hardware, software and operations teams to minimize bottlenecks and deliver complex systems reliably, with a focus on actionable metrics and clear communication. You will bridge strategy and daily execution, building efficient workflows and governance for configuration

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years as an Engineering Program Manager or Technical Project Manager in a complex hardware/software environment.
2+ years as an Engineer in a hardware/software environment.
Proven ability to estimate effort, build and manage detailed plans, and deliver programs on time.
Strong independent problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute projects; implement metrics and KPIs to monitor health and delivery timelines.
Own schedules for critical, repetitive technical operations; remove friction and reduce downtime.
Design and iterate engineering workflows; optimize Jira/Confluence-powered tooling and dashboards.
Coordinate PLC and configuration management from development to productization.
Communicate status, risks and dependencies to stakeholders with clear technical docs.
