Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in California seeks an experienced Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead software and cloud programs from concept to delivery. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams across SW, Test, PLM, publications, and customer services, with opportunities to work on hardware programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Program management experience, preferably with 5+ years leading SW/Cloud programs.
• 10-12 years of IT product-based company experience, preferably in Telecom/Networking domain.
• PMP certification (preferred)
• Scrum Master certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead cross functional teams across SW and Cloud programs delivering features.
• Manage multiple programs simultaneously.
• Establish and manage cross-functional teams across PLM, SW, Systest, Technical publications, customer service to drive deliverables across all the phases in NPI PLC.
• Identify cross-functional interdependencies and risks, and successfully plan and manage those interdependencies and risks.
• Adept at leading various levels of team members, managers, and executives to deliver NPI programs.
• Update and maintain program status, milestones, budget, risk and program schedule on a regular basis.
• Communicate program status and drive escalations with senior leadership to keep scope, schedule, budget within tolerance.
• Review and optimize critical path and schedule considering multiple interrelated projects and any risks that materialize.
• Lead and drive HW programs and critical initiatives as needed.
