Apple Inc. has an opening in Austin, Texas, for a Senior Engineering Program Manager who will supervise five Engineering Program Managers. This role is responsible for all project delivery related to our data ecosystem, overseeing projects that build scalable, reliable systems for core applications while maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security.
The role involves managing project dependencies, risks, and outcomes against timelines and fiscal goals by collaborating across cross-functional teams, negotiating priorities, and aligning technical projects with business impact. Daily responsibilities include working closely with Engineers and Architects to define and refine architectures and designs, leveraging past experiences to solve organizational challenges.
You will partner with other Engineering Program Managers, Engineering teams, Product Managers, and Business Operations to ensure successful project completion by managing daily efforts, coordinating dependencies, scheduling releases, and timing market launches. Leading and developing a team of Engineering Program Managers supporting the Ad Platforms Data Programs is also a key aspect, including hiring, coaching, and managing project planning and execution.
The role requires negotiating delivery timelines with leadership, assessing risks, proposing mitigations, and communicating critical updates to stakeholders. Applying Agile/Scrum methodologies to improve team efficiency and delivery is expected. Domestic travel of approximately 10% is required. The position involves a 40-hour work week.
