Job summary

Hohman Plating is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its engineering organization and align resources to support operations and growth. You will oversee both process engineering and quality engineering, set priorities, develop people, and remove barriers to high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or another technical field is required.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, process development, or technical operations with leadership experience.
• Strong operational judgment balancing technical, customer, production, and business priorities.
• Experience leading engineers or technical professionals with clear priorities and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering organization by establishing priorities, allocating resources, and aligning efforts with operational, customer, and growth objectives.
• Develop, coach, and build a high-performing engineering organization through clear expectations and succession planning.
• Ensure engineering resources support production, resolve technical issues, and minimize disruptions.
• Oversee planning and workflows, prioritizing new work, holds, customer requests, and improvements.
• Lead introduction of new processes, capabilities, and major initiatives from concept to production.
