Senior Engineering Manager (Stamping/Assembly)
Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
We are representing a globally recognized Fortune 500 manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a Senior Engineering Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate would assume ownership over Manufacturing (Plant) Engineering while working closely with senior leadership. Position Responsibilities
- The Senior Engineering Manager will report to the GM and be responsible for leading a department of 50+ employees while assuming budgetary ownership over the Engineering Department.
- Work to improve plant deliverables and KPI’s through yield improvement via Six Sigma projects.
- Responsible for the training and development of staff.
- Responsible for complete AM/PM schedule of all plant capital equipment.
- Manage all external service providers and relationships with contractors.
- Project management activities inclusive of equipment installations.
- Work cross‑functionally with different internal departments.
Position Requirements
- Degree is preferred for consideration.
- Candidate should have at least 5+ years of stamping/press, welding, and/or robotic assembly experience.
- Experience in a high‑speed/fast‑paced automotive manufacturing environment is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross‑functionally with others.
