You will drive large-scale distributed services, guide API developments with major social platforms, and ensure scalable, reliable data processing across billions of real-time transactions.

You will mentor engineers, shape SDLC processes, and collaborate with executives to align technical strategy with business goals in a fast-paced ad-tech environment.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of programming experience using Python.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in big data systems using BigQuery, Airflow, and building data pipelines at scale.
• 3+ years of leadership roles in a data/software engineering context.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to build large-scale distributed services for social products.
• Deliver complex projects and APIs that scale iteratively while frontloading business value.
• Own end-to-end integrations with social platforms and align with DV goals.
• Define processes that enable growth and execution of a diverse engineering organization.
• Contribute to architectural decisions focused on product and business needs.
• Explore Big Data technologies and frameworks to inform system design.
• Provide technical guidance through reviews, brainstorming, and pair-programming.
• Interact with executive stakeholders to negotiate critical matters and align priorities.
