Job summary

Honeycomb is an observability platform enabling engineering teams to understand production behavior. This role leads the engineering management of Honeycomb Private Cloud, delivering infrastructure, tooling, and operations for enterprise customers.

You will work at the customer boundary with Field Engineering, Support, and Sales on PoCs, security reviews, and access negotiations, while building a senior, high-context team to scale with product growth.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year as an Engineering Manager for a highly technical, senior team.
• Experience shipping and operating software in environments you don’t fully control (on-prem or private cloud).
• Kubernetes and AWS fluency, plus comfort with customer-facing enterprise buyer conversations.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of Honeycomb Private Cloud, including infrastructure, tooling, and operations for enterprise customers.
• Collaborate at the customer boundary with Field Engineering, Support, and Sales on PoCs, security reviews, and access negotiations.
• Build and scale the team by hiring engineers to grow with product growth.
