Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the platform software team building open-source container runtimes, Kubernetes, Kata and Confidential Containers. You will collaborate across NVIDIA to ensure seamless integration across the stack, mentor high‑performing engineers, and drive design, planning and delivery of distributed systems.

The base salary ranges from 272,000 USD to 431,250 USD per year, with eligibility for equity and benefits; applications close October 30,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies
• Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Rust and Go
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux kernel internals and distributed systems design
• Experience with cloud computing and distributed software architecture
• Focus on performance, security, and reliability in large-scale systems

Responsibilities

• Lead a small dynamic team exploring GPU-accelerated development, deployment, and monitoring in cloud-native environments.
• Enable GPUs as first-class resources in Kubernetes, Kata Containers, and Confidential Containers.
• Grow NVIDIA's core cloud-native platform in the Kubernetes ecosystem across the stack.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across NVIDIA to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Mentor engineers, plan roadmaps, and balance multiple priorities.
