About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic Creation team based in New York. This role is pivotal in scaling and expanding Patreon’s media publishing capabilities, enabling creators to express their creativity more broadly and effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, performant, and user-centric features that enhance the platform’s functionality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, data scientists, and fellow engineers—to design, develop, and iterate on monetization features that directly impact creator success. Your expertise will help shape the future of media and newsletter creation tools, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and aligned with user needs. This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence two days per week, fostering collaboration and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript
• Strong backend experience with Python and MySQL
• Experience designing and executing A/B tests, analyzing results, and applying insights
• Ability to develop end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems
• Excellent communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Demonstrated passion for delivering impactful features iteratively and efficiently
• Experience working in a product-oriented engineering culture
