Job summary
Early Warning is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams through modernization, cloud transformation, and growth initiatives. You will partner with product, architecture, and business leaders to define roadmaps and scale engineering practices for delivery excellence and operational stability.
The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a track record of mentoring high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
- Three or more years of experience managing the development in the following: Full Stack development/ development management (Technologies: Java, Spring, AWS Cloud).
- Experience with system automation, scripting, Chef, Puppet or similar.
- Cloud technologies, VMWare, AWS, or similar.
- Automated testing, CI/CD, and delivery.
- Proven leadership in DevOps and Agile software development.
Responsibilities
- Manages activities of two or more teams.
- Provide supervision in costs, methods, and staffing.
- Provide technical guidance on design and engineering patterns.
- Enhance Agile software development lifecycle within the team.
- Promote DevOps practices and collaboration across groups.
- Ensure delivery of the product roadmap with strong governance.
- Support risk management and security considerations.
