Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering within TCIO Finance Technology to lead multiple engineering teams and shape technical strategy for internal funding and NII platforms.

You will mentor teams, drive cloud-first modernization, apply AI-enabled development, and ensure secure, scalable, and well-governed solutions across Finance, Risk, Treasury, SRE, and Data Platform stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
• 2+ years leading technologists to solve complex items.
• Experience leading multi-team adoption of AI-assisted development and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and coaching to teams delivering internal funding/NII solutions.
• Manage resources, budget, and processes across pipelines and services.
• Set operating practices for enterprise AI-assisted engineering and SDLC automation.
• Drive efficiency and reuse of firm technology assets.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Treasury, SRE, and Data Platform stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate issues and drive remediation plans.
• Oversee platform strategy and cloud-first modernization including AI enablement.
• Champion best practices for big data, microservices, API design, CI/CD, observability, resiliency.
• Ensure finance-grade controls and data lineage.
• Mentor and develop talent with emphasis on inclusion.
